Help American Legion Post 140 Build a New Pavilion!
The American Legion post 140 at Chastain Park is looking to rebuild the aged pavilion located in the rear of the property. This pavilion is probably 70 years old or older, and has lost its functionality. The plan is to remove, then rebuild a bit larger one more centered in the back site area which can be used as an outdoor entertaining area, as an adjunct to other activities and as an outdoor venue on its own if someone does not want to be inside. Our goal is to raise funds to cover some or all of this outlay. We are raising money through the Waldo M Slaton American Legion Post 140 Foundation, and any donation will be tax-deductible and help make an impact on Veterans. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause.
